Besides free food, Travelling allowance and accomodation the monthly remuneration of a female nurse in Kerala is Rs. 11,000/- (366/-). Rs. 12,000/- (400/-) for Tamilnadu - Karnataka state Rs. 13,000/- (433/-). In other state remuneration is Rs. 15,000/- (500/-). For male nurse salary is Rs. 12,500/- (416/-), 14,000/- (467/-) and 15,000/- (500/-) accordingly. A female nurse who looks after male patients, will have to be paid the male nurse’s salary. 

The remuneration is to be paid directly to the nurse by cash at the end of each 28 days.
The nurse have right to take two days leave (with salary) every month. If otherwise not taken the leave, family provide 2 days extra salary. H.N. trust reserves the right to revise the rate of remuneration from time to time. The nurse need not pay any amount to the trust office.
